Ravenous.

So, how goes the diet, 6 days in? Let's see.

Weight hasn't changed all that much since it's only been 6 days, but I've actually noticed I've been a lot hungrier and thirstier lately, which worries me a little. (I had one entire bowl of Papa Gino's spaghetti yesterday and was hungry within two hours again. Normally I can only manage a half a bowl which is still a lot. One bowl of spaghetti is about 4 servings...so yes, either my metabolism is working or I have diabetes. I pray it's the former because if it's the latter, I am NOT going on Metformin again, hell no).

I need to get back into the habit of eating a regular breakfast-I usually do when college is in session but when it's the weekend or when I have vacation, it's an excuse to skip breakfast and chow down on crap, which I need to change. I also still need to pack a lunch. I think I'll bully my father into taking me to the grocery store, we have nothing (I like) to eat for lunch in the house. I'm very picky when it comes to things like lucnh. I don't like cold meat or sliced meats. I usually like tuna and warm sandwiches. I like PB&J sometimes. I love tuna melts the best. It needs to be crunchy and melty and oh so very fattening. Maybe I can train myself to like more things to eat.

I've lately been on a Tositos and Salsa kick. Having 2 tablespoons of medium or hot salsa in a small dish with a small bowl of chips. It's delicious, it satisfies my craving and even better, the spiciness makes it so I can only eat a little and feel full. I happen to like their 'made with organic" yellow tortilla chips and the multigrain ones, but my mother can't stand them, so we have the regular, full fat ones in the house. Garden of Eating makes some awesome blue corn chips which my mother can't stand because they're "too spicy." They aren't, really. But then again, my sense of heat is way stronger than hers.

Work today. I hope for Tuesday off so I can show you the craziness that all the political candidates and news crews are making in my town.
